Building Community: Food Security

Nov '13 harvestWhat is food security, and who are the hungry in Marin County? Speakers will discuss the impacts of food insecurity on our local communities. Learn about agency and individual efforts to address food security through food banks, food redistribution, and agricultural production. Our speakers will discuss hunger in Marin County and environmental impacts of drought and climate change on our local food supply.

Join us on April 8th and learn the recipe for a food secure future. Please bring your cans and other nonperishable food donations (no glass) to help support the Marin Food Bank.  Collection containers will be available at venue.  Thank you for your generosity.

This is the next-to-last in the 2015 lecture series presented by the Environmental Forum of Marin, promoting education for action over 40 years.
