YOGA FOR YOUR EYES: NATURAL VISION IMPROVEMENT FOR VISIONARIES

Saturday, June 1, 2019
2:00-4:00 pm
Stress Management Center, 1165 Magnolia Ave, Larkspur, CA (near College of Marin)

Learn fun and easy exercises to help you take better care of your eyes and your nervous system, while enhancing emotional well-being and memory.

Our eyes are a precious gift, yet few of us really know how to take care of them.  We are told to expect and accept slow decline in our sight as we age.  Yet practitioners of natural vision improvement are demonstrating that, like every other system of the body, the eyes respond favorably to intelligent exercise and constructive rest.

Yoga for Your Eyes is an introduction to fun and easy exercises that can help you take better care of your vision.  These activities draw from the work of leaders such as Dr. William Bates and Dr. Meir Schneider, and somatic traditions of the East such as yoga and qigong.

The workshop will include background information, an exercise booklet and CD for loan, and a take-home article on the exercises we explore.  You may be surprised by the variety of activities and how they can brighten your vision and improve your outlook.

Better vision is emblematic of the clear seeing that we all need to heal our communities and restore the earth.  Your participation in this workshop will benefit not only your vision, but also your work for the common good.
