Saturday, August 3, 10 am – 3 pm: our 6th annual event to perform soulful service, break bread together, celebrate our volunteers, and enliven bliss.
Tentative schedule
10-12 Garden & clean-up work in downtown Pt. Reyes Station with our friends in West Marin Commons: trim, pull, dig, pick up, carry, and smile
12-1 Lunch on the Common (BYO reusable bag lunch)
1-3 Dessert, Awards, Songs, & Meditation at the home of Dr. Marion Guyer (feel free to arrive early from lunch; festivities begin at 1:00 sharp)
Enjoy part or all of this day of fresh air, fellowship, and fun. Bring a broad-brimmed hat and other sun protection, reusable water bottle, work gloves, your favorite garden tools, and a little something to share if you want for lunch.
To reserve your place and for directions, call (510) 532-6574 or write info@greensangha.org. We can help you organize a carpool from the East Bay, SF, Marin, & Sonoma County.
My daily affairs are quite ordinary;
but I’m in total harmony with them.
I don’t hold on to anything, don’t reject anything;
nowhere an obstacle or conflict.
Who cares about wealth and honor?
Even the poorest thing shines.
My miraculous power and spiritual activity:
drawing water and carrying wood.
– Layman P’ang
